There is something about Alexandria that makes it so… “tour-able.” After all, we just told you about the candlelight tours being offered around the city’s historic sites. And did you know that food tours are available, too? If you’re going to do all of that walking around, you may as well get some food and drink along the way, right!

Sign up for an Old Town Alexandria Food Tour to experience the sights, smells and tastes of the best bars and restaurants in the city. A guide leads you through the tree-lined streets, past mansions and row houses, as you learn about Alexandria’s history and architecture, stopping along the way to sample colonial and modern dishes by some of the finest eateries. Highlights from the tour may include local craft beers, artisan breads, top-notch fusion dishes, fresh seafood and specialty teas– all within three miles of CITYSIDE!

Tours are available Thursdays through Sundays, 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets cost $60 per person and may be purchased online.
